I tried Alli about two years ago. I developed a severe rash and terrible itching for several weeks before I made the connection that I was allegeric to Alli and/or its ingredients. Got treated with a dermatologist and stopped taking Alli. However, I have been left with ongoing struggle with ezema/ skin hypersentisivity in general. Before, I had no such symptoms.

Please stop taking Alli if you have these symptoms and check with your doctor about a possible allergy.

I make no comment regarding Alli's effectiveness itself.

I started taking Alli 6 months ago. I went from 238lbs down to 145. It definately helped me to make better food choices but I threw the bottle in the trash today. I have had sporadic itching that lasts for several days at a time. The itching is so bad that I have scratches all over my body. I am now in fear that I have damaged my liver from taking the Alli. The severe itching is one of the first signs of liver damage. I work for several doctors who are recommending that I go through liver testing soon. I pray that my enzymes are not out of whack! If you are taking Alli,,, STOP! It really isn't worth it in the end.

I began taking alli on feb. 16,2010 and within my first week, i lost 5lbs and my 2nd week, i lost 4lbs.... i exercise 4-5 times per week by walking and excersing 45 mininutes in the morning... having breakfast in a timely fashion, lunch on time, and dinner by 6pm all followed by the alli pill. i also, worked out in the evening to help increase the weight loss faster. You must also take your multi vitamin every night before you go to bed. That was a must if you read your brochures. It helps to fight off unwanted something or another...but allie works. I purchased the sample pack to see if I could continue the pill daily and if it would work... due to eating, excersing, and the multi vitamin I now weight 179 pounds to date. I plan to continue my journey but lessen the pill taking b/c I believe by excersing and controlling what and how I eat will work just as well. Dont become dependent on something you need to do daily with or without a pill. Get your mind to be focus on your goal weight, and focus on a better you. Being prayful and a great attitute also helps.

I've been taking Ally for about three weeks and although I haven't gained any weight (and have allowed myself to eat freely), I did get some extremely bad side effects as as literally leaking oil with gas. Would not recommend this to anyone....

I have been taking Alli for nearly two years. I have lost over 50 lbs. I have not followed the Alli plan and at times have nearly had accidents. But Alli has truly helped me lose and maintain my weight.

I've been taking alli for 2 weeks ive also been going to weight watchers. I have lost 3lb 1st week & 3lb in the 2nd week I have had no side affects and Id also like to add that I have a thyroid problem so that makes it hard for me to lose weight . So there is hope .

Do you have to start with the starter pack. Is there a difference in the pills from the starter pak and the refill pack?
